Tour Overview

Twelve days of the unforgettable journey across Kenya and Tanzania’s most prominent African safari destinations. You will visit Lake Nakuru National Park, rich in biodiversity, best known for its birdlife and as a refuge for the White Rhino.

Then continues to the most iconic Masai Mara, which offers awe-inspiring and unforgettable safari experiences spiced by abundant wildlife in the endless plains, including the favourites for many visitors, the “Big 5” – Elephants, Lions, Buffalo, rhinos and Leopards.

Then make your way to the magical plains of the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Venture deep into the Serengeti’s endless plains in the central Serengeti, where the game viewing is unquestionably one of the best, famed for a large concentration of animals including wildebeests, Zebras, pride of lions, cheetahs, gazelles, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, topis, spotted hyenas, and many fascinating birds.

You will then visit the garden of God – the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as a wonder of the world; the crater floor is home to thousands of everyday animals, including the rare black rhinos. Finally, your safari exploration ends at Lake Manyara, one of the Rift Valley’s most renowned lakes and home to impressive concentrations of birds and large mammals.

Finally, visit the renowned Amboseli National Park, the land of giants, home to some of Africa’s oldest and bulkiest Elephants with enormous tusks. Above Amboseli are the jagged dome of Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world.

Tour Itinerary
Day by Day

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our driver will meet and pick you up. Then, you will be transferred to your Eka Hotel for overnight relaxation and keen preparation for the coming safari adventure.

Our safari guide will pick you up from the airport or hotel, followed by a safari briefing session before commencing the drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. On arrival, you will enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge for hot lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, you will depart for the game drive until sunset; you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru is rich in biodiversity, best known for its birdlife and as a refuge for the White Rhino. The highlights are the seasoned presence of Flamingoes and other birdlife found on the shores of Lake Nakuru.

The park is also a breeding point for the endangered White Rhinos species, and there is probably no better place in East Africa to observe the White Rhino. In addition, Nakuru offers excellent bird watching and game viewing with all the Big Five except the Elephant. Also inhabiting this park is the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbuck, gazelle and baboon.

An early morning drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and arrive at the camp for hot lunch and relaxation.

Later you will enjoy an afternoon game viewing until sunset as you track the Big Five animals and numerous plains games. Then, later in the evening, drive to your camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

The Masai Mara is one of Kenya’s most sought-after game-viewing areas. The reserve itself covers 700sq miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of your imagination, with endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills.

After a delicious breakfast, you will depart for the day discovering the Mara game reach areas in search of the Big Five animals and the wildebeest migration. However, you can opt for separate morning and afternoon game drives and return late in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara offers such wide-ranging and abundant wildlife that it is difficult to comprehend. Over 450 species have been recorded, including lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, many kinds of antelopes and elephants.

In the Mara, the most spectacular natural world event happens, ‘‘The Great Annual Migration,” of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following their heels are the savannah predators: lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture.

Wake up early and enjoys your last breakfast in Masai Mara; check out and depart to the Kenya-Tanzania border Isebania (Sirare) with packed lunch upon reaching the border point for immigration and customs procedures. Next, you will exchange the vehicle and the tour guide and drive to the iconic Serengeti arriving in the afternoon with an en-route game drive heading to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

The park has 14,763 sq. km and more than 4 million large mammals live in total wilderness freedom. The park is unquestionably one of the best-known wildlife national parks globally. It is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration of 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and antelopes. As for the big cats and large predators, it’s the place to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings filmed in this park.

Waking up in the Serengeti is something extraordinary. Africa’s sights, sounds, and smells surround you, and a full day of adventure in the world’s most famous national park is ahead. For a memorable experience, enjoy a surreal journey in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti plains. This adventure begins just before dawn; depart the camp at 05h00 to the Balloon Safaris take-off site.  The excellent sunrise flight lasts approximately one hour, depending on weather conditions.

On landing, sit down to a delicious bush breakfast, freshly cooked on balloon burners in the middle of the Serengeti plains. Toast your return to Mother Earth with your pilot over a glass of sparkling wine. Then, the game drives back to your camp. After relaxation at the camp, you will depart for a game drive.

The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari, regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June – November), as animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident animals include impalas, buffaloes, hippos, warthogs, topi, hartebeests, lions, zebras, elephants, cheetahs and giraffes.

Wake up early for breakfast, followed by departure drive eastwards to visit another spectacular setting for Tanzania’s wildlife, the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater floor for incredible wildlife viewing in one of the most splendid places exploring Africa’s Garden of Eden. There will be plenty of time to enjoy another show in the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the world’s wonder.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a pioneering experiment where people (the Maasai), livestock, and wildlife co-exist and share the same protected habitat. The stunning spectacle of the Ngorongoro Crater, its steep walls falling some 610 meters to the floor, is undoubtedly one of the highlights of a safari tour in Tanzania. The crater floor is home to thousands of everyday animals, including the rare black rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, hippos, elands, elephants, and a large predator population of lions, hyenas, and jackals.

After some exploring, enjoy a lunch picnic in the crater’s heart before we take in some more sights and drive up the steep road out of the crater, heading to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After a delicious breakfast, collect your lunch boxes and leave the Ngorongoro crater; your journey takes you to Arusha city, heading to Tanzania and Kenya border of Namanga. On arrival at Amboseli National Park, in time, catch your last sight of the day. After that, you will embark game drive where you will get your first view of Mount Kilimanjaro, a massive population of elephants, a wide variety of birds and other breathtaking scenery. Later in the evening, you will drive to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli is at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, at 5895m, and it’s one of the most iconic of Kenya’s parks. It provides a magnificent Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the coloured, snow-capped peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephants accompanied by lions, buffalo, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, gazelles, hippos and wildebeest.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning and an afternoon game drive at the park, with a lunch break at noontime. Amboseli offers one of the most classic and breathtaking views of the gigantic Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world.

In addition, you will have a chance to visit Observation Hill, which overlooks the park and, of course, the herds of free-roaming elephants. You may also choose to visit a Maasai village where you meet the local people and learn about their culture. Finally, later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

You will enjoy your delicious breakfast, check out for the last game drive in the park, then depart Amboseli for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon, where you will be dropped at your Nairobi hotel or the airport for your flight back home.
